Poet, publicist, and educator living somewhere between the Midwest and the Mojave.

I hold a PhD in English & Literary Arts from the University of Denver and an MFA from the University of Montana, and I work in book marketing and publicity at the University of Chicago Press. I also represent a small number of poets and novelists as a literary publicist. I have taught for the Missoula Writing Collaborative and in the young writers program at Lighthouse. From December 2015 to March 2022, I served as the editor-in-chief of Carve.
